Playoff Run Comes to an End

The Leviathan’s playoff run and season came to an end on Tuesday night at Mission Field as they were defeated by Oakwood Red by a score of 6-4. The guys jumped out to a 4-0 after 2 innings and things were looking great, but a big 5-run inning from Red along with some rough fielding put the guys down a run. The bats then went to sleep for the remainder of the game. Leviathan did have 2 big chances: bases loaded with one out (which they failed to score), and top of the order in the 7th (failed to score). It was a bitter pill to swallow since the guys had put up 69 runs in their last 4 games.

Thanks to all the fans and families that supported the team this year! The players certainly appreciate all your cheers and claps amidst a challenging season. White Stone Leviathan finish the season with a 6-5 record and look forward to a great 2020 season next spring!20190730_180811
