In their first ever meeting, the White Stone Leviathan were victorious over their White Stone Behemoths brothers. The final score at Legion Field was 11-8. The Leviathan jumped out to an early lead as they put up 6 in the first inning, and eventually jumped out to a 11-0 lead heading in to the bottom of the 5th inning. The Behemoth mounted a valiant comeback, scoring a run in the 5th, 3 in the 6th, and 4 in the 7th. Both sides had a great time and are hoping to eventually face off in the League Playoffs.
The Leviathan were lead on offense by Adam Andrus (4-4, 3 runs, 2 RBI), Kirk Hansen (3-4, run, RBI), Robert Murphy (2-3, 2 runs, Homerun), and Luke Schweng (3-3, double). The defense was lead by the stellar play of Michael Javornik at shortstop.
The Leviathan close out the regular season at 7-4 and are a #4 seed in the League Playoffs, starting next week. The White Stone Behemoths finish the regular season at 2-9 and are an #11 seed heading into the playoffs. Click here to see the stats from the game!
