Big 6th inning wins it for Divine Redeemer Beacons

The MOS played great for 5 innings as they were leading 9-5 vs one of the top teams in the lead.

Unfortunately, the 6th inning came.

The 3rd place Divine Redeemer Beacons went crazy in the top of the 6th inning, as they put up 13 runs. The final score of the game, was 9-18. Overall, the Men of Stone played a very good game, but it ended up being another game where a big inning bit the MOS in the rear. Clutch 2-out hitting and aggressive base running helped the MOS take early control of the game. Also, White Stone played solid defense, highlighted by a Andrus-Watson-Fraser double-play.

The Divine Redeemer Beacons improve their record to 6-3, while the men from White Stone drop below .500 for the first time this season, falling to 4-5. The MOS have dropped 5 of their last 6 games.

Thank you to all who have continued to support the team—please cheer on the MOS as they take on Highview @ Fireman’s Park (7pm) and try to even up their record!
